Intelligent Monkeys teach Social Distancing.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju took to his official Twitter handle on Tuesday to share a picture that he praised as the perfect example of social distancing. The photograph shows a troop of monkeys sitting in two straight rows across an isolated road which was captured in Arunachal Pradesh. The monkeys are all seen maintaining distance between one another, incarnating social distancing that health authorities say is crucial to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

In the picture, a man is seen with bananas and watermelon slices with well-behaved monkeys. While some members of the troop are seen holding the fruit, others seem to be patiently waiting for their turn.

"A perfect #SocialDistancing seen near Bhalukpong in Arunachal Pradesh along Assam-Arunachal boundary," wrote Mr. Rijiju, while sharing the image. "If we observe, animals can teach us many vital lessons that we may have missed in the haste of our normal daily lives," he added.
