Andhra Pradesh govt includes 15 procedures for the Treatment of suspected, COVID-19 cases under Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme

The government of Andhra Pradesh has launched 15 new procedures to handle reported and verified cases of COVID-19 under its Dr. YSR Aarogyasri scheme, in an attempt to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. In this respect, Dr. K. S. Jawahar Reddy Special Chief Secretary of Health has given a Directive.

15 New Procedures

In an effort to reduce the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, Andhra Pradesh's government has introduced 15 new procedures to treat confirmed and checked cases of COVID-19 under its Dr. YSR Aarogyasri scheme. Dr. K. S. Jawahar Reddy Special Chief Health Secretary has issued a Notification in this regard. The government pulmonologists proposed the recommendation to add 15 new procedures under Dr. Y SR Aarogyasri Scheme to handle alleged and reported positive stable or unstable cases in the COVID-19.

The Government, after cautious assessment of the issue, has incorporated the 15 new techniques under Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme, the government directive said. As indicated by the order, the emergency clinics should treat the suspected and affirmed positive steady or precarious cases under the said strategies on demand made by the neighborhood wellbeing specialists or under hint to the nearby wellbeing specialists appropriately following the security, prudent steps while treating such patients. The alterations in the treatment rules and bundles will be given intermittently. The order specified that the Chief Executive Officer of Dr. YSR Arogyasri Health Care Trust shall take immediate action required to bring such procedures under the Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Scheme and shall provide the requisite instructions/guidance to the hospitals regarding the clarity of the sum of PPEs, the expense of testing if carried out in private laboratories located within/outside the state, guidance on the collection of sample and on the conduct of standalone test with due guidelines.
