Apple on Wednesday revealed the introduction of iPhone SE 2nd gen. Apple's latest handset, the sequel of the 2016 iPhone SE edition, arrives with a mix of existing and modern apps. The New Apple SE

Apple on Wednesday announced the launch of the iPhone SE 2nd gen. The successor to the 2016 iPhone SE model, Apple's new phone comes with a combination of old and new features. The design is reminiscent of the older iPhone 8 but has iPhone 11 -level processor under the hood. Here are the important things you need to know about the iPhone. 

Familiar Design

Apple's iPhone SE 2nd gen appears just like the iPhone 8. The handset has rear and front glass. Like the new models of the iPhone, it has narrower bezels at the top and bottom.

Return of the Touch Id

Apple has dropped the biometric-based on fingerprints in favor of iPhone X facial recognition. Apple's also made an argument about how better and quicker Face ID was. Apple also put back the Touch ID for iPhone SE 2nd gen. The latest biometric is compliant for Apple's Cloud Keychain which enables consumers to sign in to devices, approve App Store purchases which enable Apple Pay transactions.

As stated earlier, the iPhone SE 2nd gen operates on the A13 Bionic processor in-house at Apple. It is the same chipset that is driving the luxury iPhone 11 series from Apple. The chipset itself includes an 8-cor (Neural Engine). The chipset enables iPhone SE 2 to utilize Apple's machine intelligence and core ML applications. Apple iPhone SE 2nd gen itself facilitates wireless charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Gigabit LTE. Protection Status
