Arjun Kapoor is looking forward to watch Sooryavansh Film in theatre

Arjun Kapoor spoke about the impact of the coronavirus crisis on the Hindi film industry in a recent interview. He said he was eager to watch Sooryavanshi in a theater. The Covid-19 lockdown has affected the Hindi film industry. Because of the delay in shoots and the postponement of several launches, the industry is facing severe losses.

Filmmakers are hoping that things will return to normal as soon as possible amid a crisis-like situation. Arjun Kapoor who is quarantined at his Mumbai home is also worried about the future of the industry.

The actor said in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama that while the industry could continue to wait until May or June, it would be a problem if theaters were not opened until January next year. The actor said the industry looks to the post-August era, hoping things would be okay by then. He added that if any small-budget movies made it directly to streaming platforms, it was perfect. 

Arjun shared the urge to watch Sooryavanshi on the big screen, adding that there are other types of Hindi films to be seen in a theatre. To give an example from Hollywood, the actor said that Fast & Furious 9 was postponed by one year and that it would not be on a digital platform. Protection Status
