The iconic striker, who breathed his last in Kolkata at 82 on Thursday, was Indian football's poster boy, a cricketer par excellence who once led Bengal to the Ranji Trophy final in the 1971-72 season and helped India demolish the mighty West Indies in a touring match. In brief, he was a 'expert' at all, whether it's a tennis racket or a hockey stick.
