COVID-19 Update.

The United States has more than 9,00,000 people infected with the killer virus, with a death toll reaching 52,000 as of Saturday. At the same time, a new study indicated that the virus was likely to be spreading in multiple US cities "far earlier" than Americans knew.
According to the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at John Hopkins University, Xinhua News agency, the number of COVID-19 cases have reached 905,364 as of 10 AM on Saturday with a total of 52,042 deaths due to the disease.
New York remains to be the worst-hit state with 271,590 cases and 21,411 deaths. The next in the list stands New Jersey with 102,196 cases and 5,683 deaths.
Over 2,00,000 people have died due to COVID-19 among over 2.8 million cases worldwide, as on Saturday.
While the United States suffers the most number of fatalities, Italy follows with 26,384 deaths. Spain's death toll rose to 22,902, along with France and Britain reporting over 20,000 deaths each.
