Cruelty of Pandemic Covid-19 on 4 Month Kid

A four-month-old kid died this morning in Kozhikode Kerala district because of Covid-19. On April 22, the boy, raised with cardiac defects, screened positive for Covid-19 while receiving care for infection with pneumonia.  His parents' swab samples were also submitted for screening, and the results are awaited. The family originates from the village of Payyanad in the district of Malappuram. After contracting serious pneumonia, the baby was admitted to a private hospital with breathing difficulties on April 17, and transferred to Kozhikode Medical College on April 21.

The department for health is yet to report the cause of death. One of his relatives screened Covid-19 favorably earlier and cured from the infection. The Kozhikode Medical College's pediatric newsletter reported the kid was born underweight and had heart problems.

Two citizens-a 69-year-old NRI businessman in Kochi and a 68-year-old former police officer in Thiruvananthapuram-died earlier in March while receiving Covid-19 treatment. Besides them, at the Parayaram Medical College in Kannur, 71-year-old P Mehroof, a resident of Mahe in Puducherry, also died. Kerala had registered 447 Covid-19 cases as of Thursday morning, of which 324 have recovered.
