Containment Zones in Hyderabad 

As of May 9, 2020, the total number of COVID-19 active cases grew to 1133 in Telangana, with a total of 29 deaths and 700 recoveries, as per the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare results. Most of these cases in Telangana are related to the Tablighi Jamaat incident in Delhi which was held in March 2020. CM K. Chandrashekhar Rao-led Telangana Government has established numerous Coronavirus hotspots and containment areas to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic within the state. Hyderabad has registered the largest number of cases in the states and originally, a total of 12 districts were listed as hotspots.

Recently the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare classified the districts of each state like Telangana as Red, Orange & Green Areas. A total of six districts in the state is declared Red Zone or Coronavirus Hotspots. Look beneath these districts:
