While Humans are Away, Crocodiles Came out to Play.

The popular ecotourism resort La Ventanilla in Oaxaca had crocodiles on the beach, which came out to enjoy the sun and relax in the sand while humans were away due to coronavirus lockdown in the country. Beaches in the country have been closed right from the beginning of April to avoid people gathering in large numbers to prevent the spread of the virus. Photos that were shared on the internet recently show that the crocs were having a lovely time on the beaches without a single tourist in sight. Some crocodiles were even seen surfing the waves. 

This is not the only case of wild animals being espied in popular tourist resorts in Mexico. In the streets of Tulum, near Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa, a jaguar was spotted recently. Check out the video below. Protection Status
