Dulquer Salmaan Apologizes to Woman Journalist after being accused of body shaming

A woman journalist has accused Film actor Dulquer Salmaan of body shaming. According to the reports, Dulquer used the pictures of the woman journalist in his film Varane Avashyamund without telling her or taking her permission in advance for which she took to Twitter's micro-blogging site and accused the actor of body shame.

Director Anoop Sathyan also Apologized

She posted a screenshot of her picture currently available on Netflix and wrote: "Dear @dulQuer @DQsWayfarerFilm Thank you for the feature in your film but I'd like you to excuse me from body-shaming on a public forum. The concerned image was used without my consent & knowledge in your film. I'd like to claim ownership of the same. #Varane Avashyamund.

The actor, however, immediately apologized for the incident and he wrote: "We take full responsibility for the error on our behalf. Will look into it with concerned departments of the film to understand how the images were sourced. I apologize from my end and from the film as well as @DQWayfarerFilm for any difficulties caused. It wasnt intentional.

The film's director, Anoop Sathyan, also apologized to the journalist
