Niti Aayog to Support ESanjeevani OPD

This service has been launched on Deputy Commissioner Bokaro Mukesh Kumar's order, it expands the scope of specialized healthcare facilities to the masses in both rural areas and any isolated population pockets, AK Pathak Civil Surgeon Bokaro told.

“It provides a platform for citizens to connect with a network of Specialist doctors over video conferencing and obtain medical treatment and advice for common health-related concerns while sitting at home,” he added.

Even then, all of us doctors and health staff here are always ready to provide day and night full diligence health care to residents, he added. 'E-Sanjivani' OPD and telemedicine facilities were available to provide phone and WhatsApp medical advice to citizens during the regular (except Sundays) lockdown time in Bokaro.

From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the first shift and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the second shift, different district doctors will be accessible on the phone and WhatsApp, will offer free medical advice, Pathak said. In the meantime, the district administrators have applied to all private as well as former physicians and health professionals to actively step out and support society in this moment of crisis, so that individuals who require medical care or treatment would benefit from free home medical advice via this program during the lockdown.
