Gautam Gambhir slams AAP for hiking fuel prices
The Delhi government on Tuesday has increased value-added tax (VAT) on petrol and diesel resulting in the rise in the price of the two fuels, Petrol and diesel.
Indian politician and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir took to Twitter and wrote "Delhiites, what say? Elections in next 2 months. Everything including diesel & petrol will become free & delivered to your homes! I can vouch for it!!

The Delhi government increased the petrol price by Rs.1.67 per litre, the price of diesel has increased by Rs.7.10 a litre. Before the hike, the petrol prices in Delhi was Rs.69.59 per litre while diesel rates were Rs.62.29.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal led government has increased VAT on petrol to 30% from 27% while VAT on diesel has been almost doubled to 30% from 16.75%.
