Hizbul Mujahideens Overground Worker Arrested

Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Police and army forces conducted a joint action and detained a Hizbul Mujahideen overground worker in Doda early on the morning of 5 May. OGW had been detained in Doda district of Sheikhpura. Police confiscated a gun from his possession with lives-bullets and Rs 41,000.

Joint Action of Police and Army

Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police detained a militant organization Hizbul Mujahideen from Doda in the Union Territory (UT) in a joint action on Tuesday (5 May). OGW named Tanveer Ahmer Malik had been caught hidden in Doda district village Tantna. The forces also seized weapons from him including one Chinese gun, a wireless set, and ten round cartridges confirmed Senior Police Superintendent (SSP), Doda.
