So, how do you ensure Google Photos synchronizes only the appropriate folders?

If you're an Android user, you'll need to be aware of Google Photos and its functionality that allows users to back up their whole gallery to cloud and free up mobile space. The software often provides unrestricted cloud storage if a customer wants high-quality uploads to it.

However, even though you have limitless storage on sale, you do not want to archive all the files, such as snapshots, random WhatsApp pictures or something that you saved from the internet for a particular reason so it is not as necessary to have a backup.

Here's how to go about it.

Pre-requirements:

A new updated version of Google Photos app

Working internet connection

Measures to avoid Google Photos from backuping all gallery folders

  3. If the Backup & sync toggle switch is at off position, tap to turn it on

  4. Once done, tap on Backup device folders option
