How to Sync your Android Contacts with Whatsapp

Here's what you need to know

Like iPhone, it's super easy to attach contacts to WhatsApp on Android phones. This is because all the contact information stored in your address book are automatically pulled into your database by the App. As long as you use WhatsApp, your contacts will automatically appear on your WhatsApp contacts list.

  • First, go to your Android settings

  • Then click on Accounts from settings

  • If you have already added your WhatsApp account to your phone, it will be seen here. Otherwise, press the Add Account button to add your WhatsApp Account

  • Then click the WhatsApp button. Click the three dots icon and then click "Sync Your WhatsApp"

Steps to manually add contacts on WhatsApp 

  • Click on chats > new chat> create new contacts options, on the page in sequence

  • Type the name, contact number and other info of the new contact and click on Save contact 

  • Now you need to wait a while for WhatsApp to update the contacts list Protection Status
