Sonia Gandhi's real name

Sonia Gandhi was born in the year 1946 to Edvige Antonia Albina Maino. Twitter got this reality right about her and hit the interim president of Congress constantly for not knowing her birth name, while the rest of the party continued to refer to Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adiyanath by his birth name Ajay Singh Bisht.

Fascist father:

This reality is completely real too. Her father was a lifelong supporter of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and had even fought against the Soviet military alongside Hitler's army. Sonia was born a year on from the death of Mussolini. Three years before her birth, Italy too had surrendered.

Rumours as Bar dancer

Several rumours are doing the rounds saying former India Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi met Sonia Gandhi when she was employed as a dancer in a bar in the UK. The claim is totally false. She did work as a bar attendant at a restaurant (i.e., taking orders for a drink) while studying at university when she met Rajiv Gandhi, but bar dancer allegations were made during a 2004 political campaign.

Even if you're looking at Google for 'bar girl in India,' the pictures of Sonia Gandhi come up, which shows you how easily fake news can take over your life. There are also photoshopped pictures of her face on the bodies of actresses of Hollywood such as Marlyn Monroe and Reese Witherspoon.

Ending Sitaram Kesri’s political career:

The term of the President of Congress is usually a five-year period. The only exception is that of Sitaram Kesri. In 1998, a resolution was adopted by the Congress Working Committee to make Sonia Gandhi its Party President. Kesri had to be tipped over to do so.

Did Sonia Gandhi sit on the lap of Maldives President?

An image of Sonia Gandhi sitting on the lap of the former Maldives president Abdul Gayoom started circulating in 2018. This was not the case, however, and it was discovered that it was a meeting between the two world leaders that had been photo-shopped in 2005. Another shot of James Bond actress Ursula Andress posing with Sean Connery had her face photo-shopped on the body. The original picture was from Dr No James Bond movie.
