42GB Data Plan:

There are people, however, who don't want to spend a lot on the internet but want to enjoy the great benefits of data. Jio, Vodafone and Airtel have prepaid plans for them that give 42GB of data per month, and that under Rs 300 too.

Reliance Jio rules the roost when it comes to getting prepaid plans which are affordable. The plans offering 42GB of data for Jio users start from just as low as Rs 199. The contract includes unlimited roaming from Jio-to-Jio and 100 SMS per day and is valid for 28 days. It comes with a free subscription to Jio phones, too. Jio has another affordable Rs 300 plan which offers more than 42GB of data per month.

The Rs 249 Prepaid Plan provides 56 GB of data per month. The plan is combined with a 1000 minute call from Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP, and provides 100SMS per day.

Initially, Vodafone had only one prepaid plan offering 42 GB of data per month under Rs 300 but now Vodafone has made its customers very happy by providing double data benefits without paying an extra penny The plan costing Rs 249 earlier came with 1.5 GB of data per day but now the Rs 249 plan provides 3 GB of data per day, which means 84 GB of data per month, thanks to Vodafone's double data benefits plan.

There are not too many options for Airtel to choose from under Rs 300, too. Unlike Vodafone, the plan costs Rs 249, offers unrestricted calling privileges along with 100SMS a day, and provides 42 GB of data a month. Airtel has another powerful plan that provides similar benefits as the Rs 249 plan, but at Rs 279 the price is a little higher because there is a catch. The package also offers an HDFC Life Insurance policy for Rs 4 Lakhs. Airtel also has Rs 179 which provides protection for 2 Lakh insurance. Airtel is the only telecom operator that provides protection for life insurance.
