Extended Support of Motorola

Lenovo and Motorola confirmed on Friday that it would expand the global commodity guarantee until 31 May. This quality guarantee extension refers to Lenovo and Motorola smartphones and accessories whose warranties expired between 15 March and 20 April. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the firm is providing a free extension of approximately 75 days on its goods. Lenovo and Motorola issued a press release saying, "To further serve our consumers, Lenovo and Motorola offer a free extension of global warranty for up to 75 days by May 31, 2020, on all Lenovo / Motorola smartphones and warranty accessories starting between March 15 and April 30, 2020." In expanding the mobile guarantee, Lenovo and Motorola have entered the circle of other handset manufacturers who've done the same lately. Huawei and Honor smartphones received a warranty extension, preceded by Realme which also expanded the users 'security protection.

OnePlus newly expanded its mobile line-up guarantee. OnePlus expanded the coverage and the date of return on its smartphones until May 31. South Korean conglomerate Samsung expanded scope of the warranties to the whole portfolio in India until 31 May. Samsung's contract expansion covers laptops, computers, smartwatches, fridges, washing machines, air conditioners and even TV sets. This is a welcome move from consumer electronics manufacturers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
