Madhya Pradesh to re-launch Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojana

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state government has re-started the Sambal Yojana to support people in life.

Madhya Pradesh re-launches Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojana

The re-launching of the Jan Kalyan Sambal Yojana is expected will provide new life to poor families. They will get benefit from this scheme from before birth and after death. The announcement was made by the Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The scheme was stopped by the previous government.

Under the scheme, if a poor person who is eligible for Sambal Yojana will give birth to an infant Rs.4,000 before giving birth and Rs.12,000 will be given after giving birth. It will be transferred directly to their account.

He said that a scheme has been added to Sambal and 5,000 such children, who will get the highest number in class 12, will be given Rs.30,000 each separately.

So far, Madhya Pradesh state has reported 2,942 COVID-19 positive cases and 165 death toll. Protection Status
