Maharashtra reported 4.24 percent mortality rate of COVID-19 cases
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported that the number of coronavirus cases in India has increased to 27,892, while the death toll has surged to 872, so far.

Maharashtra reports 8068 positive COVID-19 cases
Maharashtra State Government reported a total of 8068 positive COVID-19 cases and 342 deaths have been reported in the state so far. Maharashtra Health Department stated that the Mortality Rate stands at 4.24% in the state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that he will interact with the Chief Ministers of all the states to discuss the ongoing situation of the COVID-19 outbreak.
On the global level, the number of fatalities has crossed 2 lakh and the number of cases crossed 2.9 million.
