Manipur becomes the second state in India free from COVID-19. Goa declaring itself free from COVID-19, and Manipur also joined the rank of being the second state in India.

Manipur - Corona-Free Zone

Finally, Manipur attained corona-free zone status. The first patient in Manipur was a 23-year-old lady who came back to India from the UK; Another patient was a 65-year-old man who contracted the disease after returning from the Tablighi Jamaat event in New Delhi's Nizamuddin area.
Manipur CM N Biren Singh announced on Twitter that the two patients in Manipur who were found infected with Coronavirus had made a full recovery from the disease.

CM Biren Singh wrote that both the patients have tested negative, and there are no fresh cases of the virus in Manipur anymore.

Goa planning to re-start some of its economic activities by easing down lockdown in some areas.

Union Home Ministry has also sent a notice to Goa and Manipur, asking them to relax the lockdown restrictions with effect from Monday, and resume their business transactions whilst also taking care to abide by general safety protocols. Protection Status
