An App by Mizoram Government

To enhance the quick dissemination of authenticated coronavirus-related knowledge, the Mizoram government has released a robust mobile app on COVID-19 containing different details and alerts. Minister Robert Romawia Royte, of State Information and Communication Technology (ICT), released the smartphone application mCOVID-19 on Friday. 

Launching the latest smartphone app, Royte thanked the ICT department's tech developers for creating such an ambitious device in a limited period of time.

He said the application would assist managers, frontline health staff, task force volunteers at various rates and even decision-makers in delivering the latest COVID-19 information. The mCOVID-19 android application is being built in a manner that meets local requirements, he said. In addition to local alerts, Royte said the application provides global and worldwide information on the deadly virus in the Mizo language.

MCOVID-19 includes the new coronavirus report on, among others, the condition of Mizoram, India and the globe, number of persons quarantined, relief, advice column, and accurate coronavirus-related video.

Can access the application from mcovid19.mizoram.gov.in. The state government also launched a helpline on Friday during the nationwide shutdown to resolve the farmer's issue. Farmers will contact the State Department of Agriculture between 10 am and 2 pm on telephone numbers 0389- 2311160 and 0389 2328564.
