India Practicing Lockdown.

As an obvious decision, BCCI has postponed the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the COVID-19 pandemic all over the world. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed this on Thursday after PM Modi extended the nationwide lockdown till May 3 to curb the further spread of the killer virus.

Mumbai Police took to Twitter to appreciate BCCI's decision to hold IPL 2020. "IPL suspended so that India wins," the text read on an image tweeted by the Mumbai Police.

However, it is the caption of the tweet that took the cake. The redefined IPL to India Practicing Lockdown. The caption will touch your heart.

"(I)ndia (P)racticing (L)ockdown. Indian cities won't take on each other. Instead, a united India will win this match against #coronavirus. #INDvsCOVID #PerfectPitchForLockdown #TakingOnCorona," wrote Mumbai Police.
