New York's Bronx Zoo: A tiger tests positive for Covid-19

New York City: A tiger at the Bronx Zoo tested positive for the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus, in the first recorded instance of a human infecting an animal and making it ill, said zoo's chief veterinarian on Sunday. Nadia, the 4-year-old Malayan tiger that tested positive, was screened for COVID-19 disease, the Wildlife Conservation Society, which operates the zoo, said in a statement.
