Neyveli Boiler Blast

An explosion occurred at an NLC India Limited plant in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. A boiler exploded at NLC India Limited factory, formerly known as Neyveli Lignite Company Limited, reports said. Seven people in the boiler explosion are allegedly wounded. Huge smoke from the factory could be seen billowing.
The relief and rescue teams at NLC India Limited have reached the spot and are attempting to bring the situation under control. Top NLC officers are rushing to the site too. Area police and fire services are on the scene. Fire-fighters are attempting to monitor the big blaze and douse it.
Operations at the factory have been halted indefinitely.
