A Method to Tackle Tsunami

The world's depleting mangroves have created great environmental concerns because they act as a sink of pollution and extract carbon emissions from the atmosphere. Besides carbon sequestration, it supports the environment by supplying many organisms with suitable resources in a significant way.  Another highly significant role that mangroves play is the protection of coastal areas like a tsunami during natural disasters. IFS officer Parveen Kaswan posted a video on Twitter showing how shelterbelts from mangroves shield the coastline by absorbing the impact of Tsunami.
