PIB FactCheck: GoI providing Rs.3500 under PM Unemployed Allowance Scheme 

A PIB Factcheck released on Twitter the claimed that the Indian government is giving Rs.3500 per month to all the unemployed under the 'Pradhan Mantri Unemployed Allowance Scheme' is a fake news. The given blog link on the post alos remains fake.

PIB FactCheck said that No such scheme is being run by the Government of India.

Sources said that the Indian Government is planning to introduce a new monthly unemployment allowance scheme to help the unemployed youth in the country. According to sources, the Central Government has been working to implement the Universal Basic Income (UBI) scheme. As part of the scheme, the unemployed youth in India will be provided financial assistance in the form of a fixed unemployment allowance of Rs.2000 to Rs.3500 on a monthly basis.
