The plan Rs 249 costing Reliance Jio provides 2GB of data per day. It also comes with Jio to Jio Unlimited, the 1,000-minute Jio to Non-Jio FUP. Besides, Jio also offers 100 SMS a day. The pack has a 28-day validity. Until the launch of Vodafone's double data plan, Jio provided the highest data per day in Rs 249, but now Vodafone rules the game there.

Initially, Vodafone offered 1.5GB of data per day in the Rs 249 prepaid plan, but now the data benefits have doubled due to the latest Vodafone scheme. So consumers of Vodafone will now get 3GB of data in only Rs 249 per day. The kit comes with unlimited calls, 100SMSes a day, and a free Vodafone Play and Zee5 subscription. The pack has a 28-day validity.

Airtel offers 1.5GB of data per day in Rs 249 plan, much like the initial offerings made by Vodafone. The plan also provides limitless calling privileges, 100 text messages a day. The plan has a 28-day validity. If you're willing to pay much more, however, you could even get a life insurance cover. Airtel's prepaid plan Rs 279, which provides similar benefits as the plan Rs 249, comes with a life insurance policy worth Rs 4 Lakh from HDFC Life insurance. And if you're an Airtel user, you'd better pay 20 extra rupees and get a life insurance cover to the plan. Protection Status
