PM Modi Facilitates COVID Warriors of India with a Digital Platform

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' on Sunday stated that the government has come up with a digital platform to link volunteers of social organizations, representatives of civil society, and local administration.

On Sunday was the 64th edition of the Prime Minister's monthly program, Mann Ki Baat, amid the countrywide coronavirus lockdown.

During the program, Prime Minister Modi expressed respect for the sentiment displayed by 130 crore Indians in the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic. PM Modi said that to facilitate people's selfless efforts towards our country, the government has come up with a digital platform -

He also added that these people are of immense help at the local level in preparing crisis management plans and implementing them, the Prime Minister also appealed to the people to join the platform and help in serving the country.

"My dear countrymen, with utmost humility and deepest respect, I bow to this sentiment displayed by 130 crore countrymen. To facilitate your selfless endeavor towards our country, as per your inclination and time, the government has come up with a Digital Platform called," said the Prime Minister.

“Through, the government has connected the volunteers of all social institutions, representatives of the Civil Society, and the local administration. In a concise time, 125 million people have joined this portal. These include doctors, nurses, our ASHA, ANM sisters, our NCC, NSS partners, all professionals from different fields, they have made this platform their platform. These people are helping a lot at the local level in making crisis management plans and also in its fulfillment,” he added. Protection Status
