All Jio customers from anywhere in India can take advantage of the 100-minute free calling and free SMS facilities but only until April 17, 2020. Previously Jio collaborated with several banks to provide customers with ATMs with a recharge facility. Previously, customers had options to recharge their phones using phone wallets, UPI and net banking, but Jio has now given its subscribers only another choice. Some JioPhone users, particularly during these critical times, are still unable to recharge and need it the most. Hence, Jio is going the extra mile to read the company statement for its JioPhone users.

Well, Jio isn't the only telecom giant that offers the subscribers free benefits during a lockdown. Airtel, too, BSNL have provided their users with free plans until April 17.

Airtel stated on Monday that it has extended the validity of prepaid plans to more than 80 million customers across India until 17 April. They have also announced that Rs 10 would be credited mainly to low-income mobile customers in the prepaid accounts. It will make life simpler for many low-wage employees who have been struggling to reach ends since the declaration of the lockout. Protection Status
