Shah Rukh Khans 4-Storey Office Converted to BMC Quarantine Facility

The 4-Storey building of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai has been turned into a quarantine facility of the BMC.

Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan's help for BMC

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan had agreed to give their 4-storey private office building for the BMC quarantine facility in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak and crisis across the globe and country. With all the necessary elements required, the office building has now been fully transformed into a quarantine field. The room is actually fitted with 22 beds. SRK's Meer Foundation shared the video of the new quarantine zone on social media.

Sharing the video of the quarantine quarters, Shah Rukh Khan's Meer Foundation wrote, "Making space for each other. #MeerFoundation has effectively transformed the 4- storey private office building, offered by @gaurikhan and @iamsrk, into quarantine quarters under @my_bmc's guidance. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has thanked Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan for their thoughtful and considerate gesture. They replied to the tweet from BMC, stating they are thankful to be a part of the efforts to support and care for Mumbaikars. "When we say 'mybmc' then it's with a feeling of responsibility and satisfaction in all the work that the people put together to battle COVID 19.

On April 4, Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan had announced that they will be giving their 4-storey office to BMC for quarantine facilities. Thanking them and announcing their contribution amid the coronavirus crisis, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation tweeted, "We thank @iamsrk & @gaurikhan for offering their 4-storey personal office space to help expand our Quarantine capacity equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women & elderly. Indeed a thoughtful & timely gesture!#AnythingForMumbai#NaToCorona"
