Telangana Government Extends their Lockdown Till May 29: CoronaVirus Curfew

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao planned to extend the lockdown till May 29, 2020. The curfew will be from 7 pm to 7 am and all liquor shops will be opened except for those in containment zones from Wednesday from 10 am to 6 pm.

Telangana Government - Curfew Extended

The decision was taken held on Tuesday. The chief minister announced that new coronavirus cases were recorded in Telangana during the day. Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao extended the lockdown till May 29 across the state. The Curfew from 7 pm to 7 am and finally. All liquor shops will be opened except for those in containment zones from Wednesday from 10 am to 6 pm. The Total number of cases jumped to 1,096 of which 439 are active cases. 43 patients were discharged today. The state recorded a total of 29 deaths and 628 patients have been discharged so far. The liquor shops from Wednesday across all zones - red, orange, and green. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao decided to open liquor shops as four neighboring states leading to cross border issues supplies, along with cheap and spurious liquor. The number of new coronavirus cases was more in the three districts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal, together accounting for 66% of cumulative Covid-19 positive cases.

In red-zone districts (Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, Warangal urban, Vikarabad, and Suryapet). On May 15, we will review the situation in all zones to decide relaxations. Suryapet and Vikarabad districts moved from the red zone to the orange zone on Tuesday. Jogulamba Gadwal is also set to move into the orange zone in the next in a couple of days.
