Trump Put a Hold on WHO

US President Donald Trump- We're going to put a firm hold on it, and we're going to see. It's a great thing if it works. But when they call every shot wrong, that's no good, and Trump told reporters at his daily White House news conference. United Nation's health wing Geneva-headquartered WHO, receives vast amounts of money from the United States. We pay for a majority of the most significant portion of their money. They analyzed and nauseated me with my travel ban at the time I did it. They were wrong. They've been wrong about a lot of things. They had a lot of news early, and they didn't want to. They look to be very China-centric, Trump declared during his news conference. The Trump administration is going to look into the US funding to WHO.

We give a majority of the money that they get, and it's much more than the USD58 million. USD58 million is a small portion of what they've gained over the years. Sometimes they get much more than that. Sometimes it's for programs that they're doing, and it's much larger numbers. If the plans are right, that's great as far as we're concerned, he added.

We give a bulk of the money that they get, and it's much more than the $58 million. $58 million is a small part of what they gained over the years. Sometimes they get much more than that for businesses that they're doing. If the plans are right, that's great as far as we're concerned

But it's time to look into it, the World Health Organization, because they called it wrong. WHO called it wrong. They missed the call. They could've termed it months earlier. They would have known and they must have known and they reasonably did know. So, we'll be watching into that very carefully, and we're going to put a hold on money spent to the WHO, Trump said.

While Senator Jim Risch, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called for an independent investigation into the WHO approach of the COVID-19 rejoinder.

Risch said, the World Health organization has failed not only the American People, and it has failed the world with its apparent mishandling of the response to COVID-19. The United States is the highest donor to the WHO. Its intelligence community has stated that the Chinese Government dropped the threat of COVID-19 and, as a result, made it difficult for the rest of the world to react early, aggressively, and adequately, said Congressman Fred Keller.
