Striking the Fake News

The opinion of Jyotika on contributing funds to hospitals and temples has courted controversy. While she was there for the shooting, she was unhappy regarding the shortage of facilities in a hospital near Thanjavur. Later Saravanan, the film's producer, came up with a post describing why the actress had to focus on the need for further medical facilities.

A screenshot of Vijay Sethupathi's tweet which has been doing the rounds on social media which was related to the actress's comment was called out by the Master actor himself on Friday night. He took to Twitter and said that the screenshot being circulated on his name is fake.

Sethupathi enjoyed Jyotika's statement and said he'll stand by her as an actress, according to the false post. The tweet also said that during a disaster, only a human being will help another human being and the deity is helpless. It is not the actor's first time pointing out false facts. A few months ago, he exposed tweets that claimed that the actor has converted to another religion. He had then asked miscreants who indulge in such activities to engage in meaningful jobs than coming up with such things. Protection Status
