Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma laud efforts of Delhi Police amid lockdown

India cricket player Virat Kohli and fast bowler Ishant Sharma thanked Delhi Police for serving the nation during the Covid-19 crisis, which brought the world to a halt. As the country is in a 21-day lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, India skipper Virat Kohli came to the fore to thank the Delhi Police for their diligent support during the time of crisis.

India has reported more than 200 deaths as of Saturday morning due to Covid-19 and more than 7,000 cases. More than 900 coronavirus positive cases have been seen in the national capital, and therefore more than 30 hotspots have been sealed in Delhi to contain the cases.

It's heartening for me to learn that the national police service is helping so many people in these tough times, "Kohli said, lauding the Delhi Police.

India fast-bowlers Ishant Sharma also joined Virat Kohli in appreciating Delhi Police personnel's efforts.
