Karnataka CM: Centre will announce guidelines for 15-day lockdown in next 2 days
Claiming that his state-controlled everything in its battle against coronavirus, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa said on Saturday Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided tips for coping with the ongoing nationwide lockdown.

We're doing well, and all to combat COVID-19 is under control. The Prime Minister has given suggestions for coping with the situation of the lockdown, "Yediyruppa tweeted in Kannada after his interaction with Modi via Bengaluru video conference.
PM has said the extension of the lockdown is inevitable; guidelines will be released on its implementation in a few days for the next 15 days," Yediyurappa said.
State cabinet ministers also attended the videoconference that Modi had on the measures to be taken to contain the coronavirus with chief ministers from all states across the country as the 21-day lockdown was scheduled to end on April 14.
We've addressed critical policies and initiatives in our state to introduce. We will do whatever we can to resolve the crisis. There was also talk about steps to contain the infection, "he said in another tweet.
The nationwide lockdown to contain COVID-19 spread is likely to be extended beyond April 14 with the government spokesman on Saturday, saying that the Center is considering a proposal made in this regard by most state chief ministers during an interaction with Modi.
"Many states asked Prime Minister Modi to prolong the lockdown for two more weeks during today's video- on coronavirus in India with state CMs. The central government is considering this proposal," tweeted Principal Spokesperson K.S. Dhatwalia.
