Karnataka State Road Corporation To Charge One Way Bus Fare From Migrants Returning To State
Karnataka’s Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister J C Madhuswamy planned to charge One-way bus fare and the government would arrange buses for those in need to reach their villagers. The state will usually take a one-way fare from the migrant workers returning to the state to reach their villages.

Karnataka state will take the usual one-way fare from the migrant workers who are returning to the state by the state transport buses to reach their villages will be half the usual numbers and they need to maintain social distancing norms amid Covid-19 lockdown.
A statement from the chief minister’s office.“In the meeting today, the government has decided to take an only one-way fare from the migrant workers coming from outside and travelling by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation buses to reach their respective villages,” The meeting was held through video conferencing.
Central Traffic Manager, Operations, KSRTC, Bengaluru said that today they are planning to operate around 100 buses but the passengers will be 55. The passengers will be taken into the bus after health checkups
