On the Tujh Sang Preet Sajana's sets, Puja Banerjee, and Kunal Verma met and fell into love. They never spoke to the public about their relationship until August 2017 was their official engagement.

On 15 April, TV actors Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma were set to tie the knot. The couple, however, stopped the celebration because of the coronavirus pandemic. Yet Banerjee declared recently that they had registered their marriage and legally have made them both wives and men. He also said that when the world is a happier place, the couple should rejoice with their loved ones.
The actor shared herself and Verma's picture, "This is a picture from last year's Puja Sindoor Khela. We were supposed to have our wedding today, but the situation is that we canceled all our ceremonies even though we had our marriage registered before one month, and now we are officially married and together forever. We need every good wish for our new life, to begin with with the blessing of our parents and grandparents."
Puja Banerjee also revealed that the money they used to use to carry out their tasks was now donated to charities. She said, "Our family is grateful, and in the circumstances we are happy, and our hearts go out to all the people who are suffering now and to all the families who have lost their loved ones. Our prayers for you and a small donation from our side to our wedding work are given to those people in need right now. There's no time to rejoice, but once the world is peaceful again, we'll rejoice with our loved ones. Jai mata di, "Jai mata di."
Their wealthy friends started to post congratulatory notes on the post for the newlyweds. "Congratulations to each and every one of you," Meghna Naidu wrote, "Both you have love, as Adaa Khan wrote. Those such as Mahhi Vij, Ridhi Dogra, Aparna Dixit, and Debino Banerjee wished the couple well too. Other congratulations.

Banerjee said earlier in an interview: "I would say that Kunal Verma is my life's supporter. I think I couldn't have accomplished so much if it wasn't for him. I honestly think a girl needs her man's love, and Kunal has always been with me. In my profession, he never asked questions and completely helped me. I'm so grateful and lucky to have him in my life.
