A 30-year old employee said, This is a forced decision and no employee’s choice was considered. I have been put on a notice but I don’t know for how long and if I will get salary. It is difficult to sustain in these difficult times and I have no clue as to what is written ahead for us,”Maharashtra Labour Commissioner, Dr.Mahendra Kalyankar has issued a directive on March 20th, stating that no company shall terminate any employee during the lockdown, and this action by System plus Technologies is a clear violation of this directive.
The IT Employee Union is in touch with Govt officials, and they want such practice of firing employees to stop. Indian IT Employees and their families are facing tremendous trauma as the IT and ITES companies are not cooperating with the Government directions.
