Railways: RPF Constable Job Notification for 19,952 Posts is Fake
A fake job update and related messages were making rounds on social media. The notification states that 19,952 vacancies in Constable posts have been declared by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). On February 21 the Indian Railways issued a warning notification to candidates. Yet the fake job alert is still being searched widely online even after so many days of warning candidates.

The railway had said in its notification, "Leaks have come to light in the recent past that some websites and social media are passing fake information about the recruitment of some 19,952 constable into the railway protection force offering to hire candidates in return for money. All candidates and the general public are hereby told that no such notification has been released on their websites or through any print or electronic media by RPF or Ministry of Railways.
Indian railways are one of the country's biggest operating organisations. Railway is the most sought-after choice for aspirants for government jobs. The railway receives over demand crores for significant recruitment. Fake job alerts have always been a threat; they scam candidates in exchange for money by selling them employment, and they are also a nuisance for the administration as candidates seek clarification from official bodies in this regard later on.
