What is the Seva Sindhu App?

The Karnataka Government has released the Seva Sindhu App to assist inter-State travel during this lockdown. Initially, the Seva Sindhu was introduced as a tool to provide online government services to citizens residing in the state. The Seva Sindhu Covid-related aim is to provide cashless, faceless, and paperless government services. Additionally, the Seva Sindhu app and the website also help migrant workers find travel services to enter Karnataka or return to their home state during the third lockdown phase. On sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in, interested persons must register their name, residential address, and mobile number.

Seva Sindhu Self Registration:

Compulsory self-registration by all travelers on the Seva Sindhu portal before entering Karnataka, "Health and Family Welfare Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Pandey ordered. Any person visiting the state from Monday must enter his or her name, address, and mobile phone number, however, no approval is needed to enter the state. Likewise, all incoming passengers will be required to undergo health screening at checkpoints, airports, train stations, and bus stations at the state border. All business visitors are expected to provide their details while transit travelers are required to provide the address in the destination state along with the Karnataka exit check post.

• Open the Seva Sindhu App or sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in

• Tap on "Covid-19: Apply here to travel to other Indian states from Karnataka" or Covid-19: Apply here to travel to Karnataka from other Indian states

• Fill all the details such as name, mobile number, gender, Aadhar number, etc

• Fill the address details which include present state details and the state details that you wish to travel to  

• Now select on the option - need travel assistance from the government, or do you have your own arrangements

• Then provide the Quarantine related details on the website

• Finally, agree that the information that you have provided is correct and click on apply

The Seva Sindu Portal is also useful under the 5000/- scheme according to government guidelines for Auto Drivers & Taxi Drivers, barbers, dhobis, and other beneficiaries.
