Slack integrates Microsoft Teams app for video call, zoom and more
The business communications network Slack has released a new update to incorporate its competitor Microsoft Teams video call tools into its chat app in an attempt to simplify life for millions of people working from home. Slack users will be able to set- Microsoft Teams Calls as the default provider calling from Thursday.

|Slack introduce's VoIP phone integration with Zoom
When the Teams app is set up in Slack, you will be able to initiate a call simply by using the /teams-call command. You can also be able to see the members before you join a meeting. In addition to the incorporation of Microsoft Teams, Slack is also introducing VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) phone integration with Zoom, Cisco Jabber, RingCentral, and Dialpad. Over the past month, Slack has seen nearly 350 percent growth in calls made or received in its chat app as businesses and SMBs embrace remote work during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
