MAP IT Covid-19 Pass: The government of Madhya Pradesh has opened an online platform dedicated to issuing e-passes and registering migrant citizens with a view to helping people stuck in different sections of the world. Out of the more than 47 lakh applications for e-passes, more than 15 lakh have been accepted and around 23 lakh have been refused for different purposes, according to the latest available data on the portal. Madhya Pradesh Government is providing Covid 19 epass Bhopal @ mapit.gov.in/covid-19/. Online Epass Bhopal is used to travel by the state residents during the lockdown period. E pass for Lockdown Bhopal can be accessed online in the site mapit.gov.in/covid-19.

The government has already made no plans to get back anyone stranded in other state's hotspot towns. But now citizens can apply for an e-pass at the state government's MAP- IT portal (mapit.gov.in/covid-19/). The passes will be given only once, to carry back those stuck in other nations, and will be available only once.

In the previous order, only medical emergency, death, and marriage e-passes for moving to Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Dhar, Khandwa, and Khargone were released.

How to apply for Online Epass Bhopal?

Madhya Pradesh state government is providing E-pass to their citizen of the state. To get the epass check the following steps:

Step 1: To apply for the E-pass you need to log on to the official website www.mapit.gov.in/covid-19/

Step 2: See the home page of the portal, you can easily find the link of the “Apply Epass” to get Epass 

Step 3: As you click on the link, you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 4: Enter your valid mobile number and the given captcha code.

Step 5: After entering both the details press the “Submit” tab.

Step 6: You will receive an OTP on the mobile number you have entered. Then, enter the OTP for verification. It will redirect you to a page where you will have to enter the details asked.

Step 7: Fill the details accordingly and carefully. Provide the following details to apply for the Lockdown ePass:

• Journey Details like Source Type (if travelling from one district to another district/state, travelling to MP- Bhopal from other states), Source District, Place to visit 

• Upload Image

• Full Name

• Gender

• Email ID (Optional)

• Photo ID Proof (PAN, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID, Other Photo ID Card Issued by Government /Private Organization In JPG or PDF format)

• District ( Should be of the source location)

• Residential Address ( Should be the source location)

• Visit Address Details 

• Purpose

• Pass Start Date

• Pass End Date

• Place of Visit 

• Number of Person (enter the number of the person visiting)

• Vehicle Details

Step 8: Upload the required documents and annexure.

Step 9: After giving all details, click on the submit button.

Step 10: After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your mobile. Get the pass sent by the District Officer on your registered mobile number. The citizen is required to follow the terms and conditions mentioned on the ePass.

The returning citizens will undergo medical tests and will remain home quarantined if not suspected. The suspects of COVID-19 will be institute quarantined.

Who can avail Bhopal e pass?

The epass for all categories of applications will be decided by the concerned district level officer. Also, permission to apply from other states to Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal) will be given by the District Level Officer of the destination district. Home Department of Madhya Pradesh will approve the lockdown epass for people under the following categories:

• Food procurement and other urgent services

• Door to door distribution of material related to urgent services

• Transporters, and Personal Emergency Work.
