E-Pass for Lockdown Bihar @ covid19.bihar.gov.in

Bihar State Government is providing E-Pass for Lockdown Bihar @ serviceonline.bihar.gov.in. The COVID-19 Online pass for lockdown Bihar can be used to travel state residents during the lockdown period. The state government has ramped-up its process to issue more online Epasses after the nationwide lockdown extended. The move comes after the increased demand for online ePass in the state. 

Also, state govt has strictly advised deterring any unnecessary movement or movement without proper documents in the state during the lockdown. 

How to apply for Bihar epass?

People with valid and urgent matters can avail the epass provided the Bihar state government. ePass in Bihar state will only be issued after due diligence. A stepwise procedure is provided to Apply for e pass Bihar:

Step 1: Log on to the covid19.bihar.gov.in to apply for the e-pass.

Step 2: Click on the link its will redirect to https://serviceonline.bihar.gov.in/

Step 3: Fill out the necessary details as per the instructions. Application for issuing e-Pass for travel for essential service under COVID-19 National Disaster requires the following details:

• Applicant Name 

• Father's Name

• Age

• Gender

• Mobile Number

• Identity Card (ID) Number (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Driver License / Passport / PAN Card / Government ID) 

• Vehicle Type

• Vehicle Registration Number

• Number of passengers including driver

• Purpose of the trip

• Destinations & Districts

• Route

• Current address

• Applicant Photo

• If the travel is one-sided or Two-sided (return)

• Applicant should attach enclosures form which will open where you have to attach your scanned identity details.

• The applicant should declare if there are any household or family member traveled abroad/state in February/March, any household or family member recently quarantined and any symptoms of cold/cough/fever in a household or a family member

• Verify the filled in details once and enter captcha given. 

Step 4: For Inter-State e-Pass, the initial e-Pass will be issued first and the District Control Room / Sadar Hospital will have to come along with the prescribed form available on the portal. Here, the final e-Pass will be issued after a medical examination. If sufficient evidence is not given, the application will be rejected.

Step 6: People can contact the local police station and resolve any issues faced while getting e-pass. 

Step 7: Check the status of your application by logging in to the website using the unique ID.

Step 8: The e-pass can then be printed for use it is essential to carry the e-pass with you when you leave the house.

People who apply for the pass should have a valid reason for travel. Also, emergency epass for inter-city movement only allow movement within the city or district and for state migrants to enter the state, they need to follow strict guidelines
