E-Pass for Janata Curfew
The government declared a country-wide shutdown that would include novel coronavirus spreads. Within the lockout, both commercial and private facilities are suspended and citizens can remain home and hold the social distance. Only essential facilities such as pharmacy and drug stores, print and online newspapers, telephone infrastructure, etc. are available and a clear curfew pass requires people responsible for such programs to go to work. However, if you require a curfew pass for any emergency service, you should request online or at WhatsApp for it. You need a legitimate explanation for the pass please be sure. The Government of Delhi has opened a web platform where people may apply electronically for an e-pass. They have started providing e-passes through WhatsApp, as an alternative.
Who all can apply for e-pass
Not everyone is allowed to apply for e-pass. Only people related to essential services are allowed to apply for e-pass by filling up an online application which is verified by the Deputy Commissioner of Police of the district concerned and then the pass is issued.
How to apply for e-pass for Delhi
METHOD 1: Via WhatsApp

METHOD 2:
Step 1: Using official web portal 1. Open 'https://epass.jantasamvad.org/epass/init/' and choose the language
Step 2: Now, select the option 'e-pass for travel during curfew' and click on Submit button
Step 3: Here, enter key details such as contact information, ID proof, name, address, service type, the time period for which you need the pass, etc
Step 4: Click submit to apply and save the ePass ID to track the status in the future.
How to check your e-pass status
1. Open 'https://epass.jantasamvad.org/epass/init/' and choose the language
2. Now, select the option 'e-pass for travel during curfew' and click on Submit button
3. Then click on Check status button and enter 7-digit ePass ID
Janatha Curfew E-pass Delhi
