How to Delete Instagram Account?
You can't sign up with the same username again after you delete your account, or add that username to another account. To delete it, you will need to be able to log in to your account. If you can not remember your username or password.
Steps to delete your Instagram Account permanently:
Go to the Delete Your Account page from a computer or mobile browser. If you are not logged into the web in Instagram, you will be asked to log in first. Within the Instagram App, you can not delete your account
Select an option- Why are you deleting your account from the dropdown menu. And type your password in again. Only after you have selected a reason the option to permanently delete your account appear
Click on Permanently delete my account option
Delete a Different Account:
Click on the username in the top right of the Delete Your Account page
Click next to the username and select Log Out
Now log back again as the account you want to delete and follow the above steps
How to Delete Instagram Account Temporarily?
If you temporarily deactivate your Instagram account, it will hide your profile, images, comments, and likes before you reactivate it by logging in again
Sign in from a mobile phone or computer to instagram.com; Inside the Instagram app, you can not temporarily disable your account
On the top right corner click on your profile picture and select Edit Profile
Then scroll down and click on temporarily disable my account in the bottom right
From the drop-down menu, select an option next to Why you disable your account? And type your password in again. The disable your account option will appear only after you have selected a reason from the menu and entered your password
